  17. With C-Kermit 5A(190) on VAX VMS 5.5-2 I did a 'set dial dir' to
  18. eliminate the display line that looked to the user like an error
  19. message when issuing a dial command with an actual phone number. The
  20. sho dial showed (none) for the dialing directory name. when I did a
  21. dial command with a number I got the following dump abort. Version
  22. information is also shown afterwards:

  82. The problem did not occur with the AXP VMS version of C-Kermit. Both
  83. the VAX and the working VMS C-Kermit came from the hexified code
  84. supplied with the kermit distribution tape.
